Less formally, you will find us out and about all over the place. As well as trekking off to strange parts of the country for the annual Inter-Varsity Folk Dance Festival we have had a ceilidh on the beach at Exmouth, dancing in a service station and even a committee meeting under a dining table. Many of us go to the Great Western Ceilidhs in Exeter and, during the summer, the more intrepid members can be seen at folk festivals from Sidmouth to Whitby. Even when we're not dancing, playing or thinking folk, you'll often find us socialising in various watering holes, cinemas or beaches. Ask anyone who those slightly crazy people over there are, and they'll tell you: That's Folk Soc.
